21 Galatians 6:10
So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who
are of the household of faith.
22 Fourth Commandment and Meaning
Honor your father and mother.
What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not despise or anger our
parents and other authorities, but honor them, serve and obey them, love and cherish them.
23 Proverbs 23:22
Listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old.
24 Fifth Commandment and meaning
You shall not murder.
What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not hurt or harm our
neighbor in his body, but help and support him in every physical need.
25 Colossians 1: 13-14
He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of
his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
26 Matthew 15:19
For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality,
theft, false witness, slander.
27 Sixth Commandment and meaning
You shall not commit adultery.
What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we lead a sexually pure and
decent life in what we say and do, and husband and wife love and honor each other.
28 Philippians 4:8
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy ---
think about such things.
29 John 6:40
For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes
in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.
30 Seventh Commandment and meaning
You shall not steal.
What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not take our neighbor's
money or possessions, or get them in any dishonest way, but help him to improve
and protect his possessions and income.
